This House believes that wearing conservative and appropriate clothing is a must to prevent sexual harrassment

In the line of our previous event online, It opens us to a new discussion, whereas many believe that Girls should wear appropriate dresses, so men, will not get sexually aroused, but many believes that men should learn not to rape.

This Discussion leads us to discuss this motion of This House believes that wearing conservative and appropriate clothing is a must to prevent Sexual Harrasment.

Let me present the Affirmative Side and Opposition side of the said motion.

Affirmative Side:

To discuss the motion we are about to open, let me define few terminologies, first is Appropriate clothing, we are about to wear appropriate clothes, where as we show that even though we are not professionals, we should wear decent clothes, that might everyone gets to give high respect for us, especially in the field of doing job, wherein one of the requirements is for  us to have pleasing personality , Next is prevent sexual harrasment, over the past few years, the number of cases of harrased womens, or men, continue to increased, prevention of sexual harrasment means that,we prevent the continues increasment  of the number of those who experienced Sexual Harrasment.

1.For Professionalism and Decentness, we live already in the age, where technology is developing, the connection of arising technologies to this discussion is about how people get sexually aroused, to answer, its about how technology produces pornographic materials, nudity content, which makes men or other women curious about what they watch, which leads me to my main point, if people sees you how you wear inaappriately wearing crop tops and short shorts, we cant blame them, for it is in the nature of a man or a woman to get sexually aroused, for what they can see, smell, touch, taste and feel, in order for us to prevent this kind of harrasment, we should wear appropriate clothing so we could prevent the increasing number of harrasment.

2. Its Beneficial for everyone to wear appropriate clothing especially outside the house, we could wear our crop tops and short shorts, when we are in our house, but dont wear it outside going somewhere, some say its fashion, but always remember your own safety and security, and one aspect to ensure that is to wear appropriate clothing, it could benefit us to wear this appropriate clothing, just like what I said we look professional and decent. One of the very important lesson we learned when we are at school is the dress code, so theres nothing wrong with it, if we also apply the rules of the school in the outside world. Wearing appropriate clothing is a must for us to preveent this sexual harrasment each and every day.

3.Its practical for us to wear appropriate clothing, because also shows the personality of a person, not because most of other men wear short shorts, and also women, plus wearing of crop tops, or sexy dresses, also show what type of person we are, because in Personality Development, Clothes represent our outside appearance,  whether we are a professional one or not, Respect begets respect, How can someone respect the other if you yourself, you cant respect your own self, what Im trying to imply is that many of the people now, wants to show their genitals, their boobies or even their sexual organs, no offense, but this is the observable traits

To sum it all up, we just want to preserve each and everyone safety and security, whats wrong with wearing appropriate clothing, we can just follow the rules, so we can also feel that we are safe and secure.

The Opposing Side

The other bench, relies on the fact that its nature to a man being aroused for what they see, smell, taste,hear and etc, but the reality is, man or woman any of the two should learn not to rape, why is it, hear this arguments.

1.Animals are also raped, do they wear dresses, or any clothing

Yes we humans are on the nature of being sexually aroused, but not because we see girls or boys, wearing sexy clothing making them to sexually harrased this people. There are almost thousand of news that even animal were get harrased, and I do believe that animals do not wear dresses,  and why is it there are news that they are also harrased by us humans, for anyone can be harrased by anyone, even animals that are too innocent, some of them are dogs, cow, and many more

2.Personality Development teaches us how to be unique, 

To show who we are, professionalism and decentness cant be define by just wearing appropriate clothing,  and I do believe that everyone deserve to respected, not just because they wear inappropriate clothing doesnt mean we don't respect them, for every human deserve to be respected, next is, why do we need to deprive those people to wear what type of clothing they want, if its the way how they can boost their confidence, self esteem why not,

3. We are all living in the digital age, Yes i agree with that pornographic materials are everywhere, but always remember this, once we harrased a human, what if it happens to pur loved ones, what do we feel, plus many news from around the globe that even an infant gets harrased, and a person whose age is almost close to a century gets harrased,  and I do believe that within this age range, they dont wear sexy dresses, but why is it they become a victim, for it only shows that no one is safe and secure, 

To conclude, wearing conservative and appropriate clothing is just an option, we could wear what we want, as long as we feel comfortable and to prevent sexual harrasment, Humans need to learn  not to rape, not to teach a person how to dress properly.
