This House Believes that Education should still continue in the middle of Pandemic Crisis

Affirmative Side

Education is something that is a process we always have, in school and even on our work stations, we learn something new everyday, and that is why education should not stop, In order for our child to grow, physically and mentally they should learn how to cope up with the situation we have right now, and learning in the middle of Pandemic Crisis.

Let Me establish the definitions, Education comes from the latin word Educare, or Educate, we need to educate ourselves, and most especially the students, what we feed on our mind helps us to be more glolbally competetive, and we should feed it with lessons and such.

With the said motion the discussion should prioritize discussing the Necessity, The Beneficiality and Practicability of the situation and how we could give some remedy on it.

1st Argument: Problematic Students about Technology, we also have Modular Learning

In the days of our lolo's and lola's many of them graduated in with flying colors, which we all know that, in the past, they do not have technology, they only rely on the module, studying at home and using an oil lamp, but still many of them these days were still capable of being globally competetive, they dont rant that time, they succeeded with their passion, hardwork, it didn't hinder them from continue to studying, because the hardwork will always be paid of fruit of successs, its a process we need to walk on, the failures is part of it. Its completely necessary to continue the education not just to continue the increase of economy in the middle of Pandemic, but to continue nourish and grow the mental ability of childrens and all the students nowadays

2nd Argument: Education should continue whether you are rich or poor, its a mind over matter, its about grit and determination, Its beneficial for us to continue the education because it will benefit the learning of the children, it will benefit the teacher  it will benefit the growth of our economy and the growth of our own educational system, once we stop the education for about a year or two, we are like a stagnant water, which is which  can still be useful but its so hard to pull out to be used as one of main resource of water, the analogy explains that when we become stagnant for a about a year, our minds will not nourish or grow, plus its more difficult to enhance again our own mental capacities and capabilities, being rich and poor is subjective, because there are people who are in the poorest of the poor classes but they are able to learn, and other might say on the middle class that they were not able to learn, so it depends on the situation, thats why the department elaborates more possible ways of learning.

3rd Argument: This will seperate us apart from the other countries, for we may become globally competetive, we all know that the Philippines is included in the third world country, its a barrier we should destroy, its a wrong mindset that, when your country is included in the third world country, you dont have the chance and the ability to still continue the learning of the child, if this online classes or modular learning type become susccesful, and produces students that are still bright, hardworking students despite of Pandemic, and its practical since there are options that are presented by the Government, 

To complete everything, its necessary, beneficial, practical to continue our education, because the government are implying and applying different and alternative ways of learning that can be suitable for everyone, simce modern technology is always used, we could still used the traditional used of books and modules where students learn from their homes.

Opposition Side

Education is the most powerful weapon we could use in order for us to change the world, and it's the wealth that no one can steal from us, 21st Century Learning also offers us with the help of technologies, modules that can be printed, and most especially traditional face to face classes.

In order to build the foundation of my following arguments, let me define what Education is, it is something that we earn, we walk on, a process of growing into, Pandemic Crisis, is a situation where a specific country is struggling with an infection of such Virus nor any type of Infectious Diseases.

With the said motion we should closely tackle the classes that will happen on areas where COVID 19 increases particularly at Metro Manila. Where also most of the biggest and popular universities are founded and grounded. We should discuss the things that matters the most during the Pandemic Crisis, necessary to stop, why is it beneficial to stop and why is practical to not continue the education

1st Argument: Education can wait and Health should be preserved, which makes sense to necessarily stop for a while

Metro Manila is indeed major part where COVID 19 Spreads,  if we are going to see the trend last March even up to these days, the number of Cases didnt even drop. Traditionally many of them wants to still pursue our education with the traditional basis, which is also known as face to face class, wherein we put the lives of the children in danger, perhaps not just in danger, but already putting them in a coffin and burrying them in the ground. The Health of the students here matters the most, for we know Health is Wealth, why do we need to continue this education system, there are no mass testing either, so why cant the government wait a year or two, so that we could have vaccine and ensure that we could live freely. 

2nd Argument: Modular Type of Learning is being offered, but the Quality of learning of the child is the outmost concern for its only beneficial to those who are most capable

How can we ensure that in the latter days of continuing this education will ensure that students will learn in a modular basis, the next thing is that, DepEd introduces as to 21st Century Learning Skills, which they offer us the modern use of technology as an instrument of learning, how can the student learn something out of a module without the guidance of a teacher, Citizens will say, our Parents is our first teacher, but the thing is, when on higher education quality, can still our parents able to help us with the most difficult lesson we might encounter,  not every child has parents capable of teaching, well in fact many of the parents out there do not even get a chance of studying, even reading and writing most of them are not on that zone.

3rd Argument:    Education System comes with technology, but is this the key in order for us to continue learning? no thats why it is impractical

But the question is, does everyone has the capability to access computers, desktop, android devices and even stable network, how can we assure that 24/7 the signal will be okay, that the signal wont be lost, what if in the middle of the discussion there would have an emergency, how can we ensure that in the middle of the online class there would be no cheating. Quality Education is what we need right now, how can we assure that we students learn during the online class, well here's another fact, many of us students are already struggling learning on traditional face to face class which there is already a struggle of learning but still we, they tried their best so that they would be left behind, and now online class is the key?, another thing is the Camera of the phone of the Students, others do not have good android devices that can establish a good foundation for learning, and another struggle will strike once more.

To Sum it All Up: I firmly believe that the Education System in the country should not continue, due to that, it would also be a discrimination for those who are not capble of studying with the use of technology, plus a degrading way of self esteem of child on learning because of modular basis, that jot everyone has the capbilities of learning all by themselves.
